Each year, The Hollywood Division of LAPD Community Relations, The Hollywood Police Support Association (HPSA) and the Hollywood Police Activities League (PAL) sponsor a special Children's Holiday Party each year.

This year the party was held on December 14, 2002, at the Hollywood Community Police Station. Over 1,200 children and their families attended this 15th annual holiday celebration, which included a meeting with Santa, a gift, lunch and entertainment.

A core of LAPD officers and citizen volunteers planned and produced the party, which was funded entirely by the generous donations from local area businesses and citizens. Thank you to the following for giving so generously to make this day happen:

PAL believe it is essential to build and maintain a strong relationship between our citizens and the Police Department through service and activities such as this holiday party. Our party reaches out to the under-privileged and helps to form a bond with our police department members. It is in this spirit of generosity that we endeavor to improve the quality of life for our children and our community.
